Welder Testing Registration and Fees
To book a spot for a CWB test date:
- Welders or companies can contact Pam Irwin at 780-469-5870 Ext. 0.

The following information is required at the time of booking:
- First name, middle initial, and last name

Mailing address (where the test report is being sent)

Who is paying? (Welder or Company)

Which class the welder is testing for:
- SMAW (stick)

GTAW (tig)

Positions testing for:
- All - doing all 4 positions

Check test - position depends on original ticket positions

Overhead

T-Class

Fillet

A deposit is required to hold the spot. If the welder does not have a credit card, they will need to come in and put down a $100 deposit to hold the spot.

On the day of the test, the welder must bring the following:
- Driver's license or other form of ID

Safety equipment - welder hat, goggles, welding gloves, and steel toed boots

Buffing wheel
-
Hammer and chisel
-
Vice grips
Testing starts at 8AM. Test fees for 2010 are shown below.
